Circle Game Saturday

This question is in honor of friends Missy, Sherri, Michelle, Tamara, and my SiL, Jessica , who all completed the C. half marathon today. *You all made me VERY proud! Good job, ladies!*

Question: What is your proudest achievement?

My answer...it differs depending on my mood...but starting graduate school is my current answer.

My proudest achievement would be getting through labor and having my first child and breastfeeding him for the first year.

In a different way I'd have to say the 5k I participated in last December. Not a 1/2 marathon by any stretch, but still an accomplishment for me. I had never finished a race longer than 1/2 mile in my life.

My proudest achievement would have to be starting a band and actually getting paid pretty well to play in it. It has given me confidence that I did not have before and I have a sense of doing SOMETHING good for people. Not like it is changing the world or anything, but in today's world, everyone needs to have "leisure time" when they can do something mindless that is strictly for their enjoyment. When I am on stage looking out at people dancing, laughing, hugging each other, and hoisting their adult beverages high, I know what we are doing is good and it makes me proud.

thanks, B-rent for making music.
thanks, Dri, for bearing children.
thanks, Anna for starting grad school. and for posing ?'s

as for me, i think completing both my undergraduate and graduate degrees are very important to me. education is priceless, and getting these degrees has shaped me into a better person. yeah, they are just pieces of paper - but they represent hard work and a commitment to secure my future.

This picture MADE MY DAY. It makes me so happy to see my amigas! I am sorry you were wearing stocking hats, though. Sad.

I think I'm most proud of moving out of the country.

Running feats- joining Cross Country senior year and being way more successful that I thought-ten years later starting running again and working up to 8 miles.

Completeing graduate school although it was almost too enjoyable to call difficult.

I'm on strike...

Say it ain't so, Ryan! Why are you on strike? That strikes to the heart of the circle game.

I would have to say my greatest achievement thus far is moving to Europe and then going to school in Switzerland in a field I had no experience whatsoever but just the desire to try it.

And I applaud Two Pretzels for moving out of the country.
