I want to know...

Have you ever been on TV? If so, for what?

Me...I was interviewed a few years ago about the locus that had invaded our city that spring/summer. The critters were being particularly noisy during one of our cookouts at a local metro park.

I looked like a nerd.

i had NO idea that you were interviewed about locus bugs. wow. this changes my entire view of you.

I was interviewed about the smoking ban when I worked at Frogtown Johnnies.

Last week I was on ESPN because we were in the first row of the Glass Bowl when UT played Colorado.

Lol. MM - you're awesome.

Nope. Never been on TV that I can remember.

I've been in the paper and on radio, though. :)

(I am responding to PROVE that I have been on your BLOG! Does this mean I get to stay in the blue room for free AND have morning coffee with Tim??)

Here are the TV appearances as I know them (in chronological order, most recent first, like a resume):
1. Live TV, local news, twice, for job search stuff.
2. A longer story (not live) for local TV on where the jobs are (in my office, with students).
3. For lots of stuff with the baseball accident with the service stuff, but also a local story where I talked about the Kiva.
4. When people drowned at the lake- I happened to be walking on the beach and had a live interview a couple days later. I remember saying something about how it was so sad- what do you say?
5. Same incident- with the drownings- but happened to be on the beach and the shot was of me getting up... and somehow earned a nickname from that experience that I refuse to type here.
5. Local t.v. back home when my friend Alissa died, representing the volleyball team and student body. That was hard. I cried a lot and said a lot of, "yea- we will miss her."
6. Once for twirling things back in the day.

I think that's all!?

Why yes I have!!! Back when I was in elementary school I did the commercials for the Denver Museum. One exhibit was dinosaurs and I jumped out of the bushes to say, "They're back!" Haha!
